Food as enemy

Well I just can’t seem to get any sleep again so I thought I’d take this opportunity to do a little blogging on my iPhone while I’m lying in bed.

I previously touched upon a healthier food regime which I have pretty much been religiously following since April 1st … And it goes a little bit like this –

A Maximum of 1800 calories per day.

No chocolate biscuits, coke, sweets, bread, salt, oils, spreads, crisps whatsoever. ( Trust me – this has been difficult! )

Meat only 3 – 4 times per month. ( That’s me cooking a bit of steak above – for the first time in a month )

It’s been good so far – mainly living on porage, fruit, salads, tuna, quorn, jacket potatoes etc. Oh! I’ve learnt I am VERY partial to a bit of broccoli.

I think I am going to see if I can manage to get it down to 1600 odd calories per day as of tomorrow.

I’m also taking a Garlic Pill a day and drinking shitloads of ginger & hibiscus tea cold – apparently these both have a positive effect on the blood pressure and heart.

Overall I feel much better and it has been a success so far.
